The entry rules for the competition were tight: The script could be no longer than 5 pages, it had to start and end with two definitive lines of dialogue, and the main character had to be a serial killer nun(!)
"I like a good challenge as much as the next person," says John Perivolaris. "and when I read the rules of the competition I thought it's near impossible to produce such a script! I guess I was wrong."

The Scottish Screenwriters' winner did not walk away only with the award, but also with a yearly membership at GMAC Film, a skills and talent development centre for independent filmmakers in Glasgow.
Room Dressed in Men will be workshopped in Scottish Screenwriters' next meeting, on October 10th. If on the day you find yourself on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, drop by and say hello. We'd love to see you there!
